Responsibilities
- Lead incident response for APT and ransomware attacks using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Design and implement next-gen SIEM solutions with Splunk and QRadar
- Conduct red team exercises to validate EDR/XDR effectiveness
- Develop cloud security posture management (CSPM) for AWS/Azure environments
- Author NIST 800-53 compliance documentation and audit responses
- Mentor junior analysts and automate security workflows with Python
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, or SentinelOne EDR platforms
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel)
- Strong understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS compliance frameworks
- Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash for automation tasks
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
