Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms to detect and mitigate threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client systems
- Develop and implement security protocols for network infrastructure and cloud environments
- Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Create detailed security documentation and executive reports
- Research emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection and incident response
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and security automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network architecture
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys) and penetration testing
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure security incidents and communicate effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent field
