Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection protocols across cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead incident response for sophisticated cyberattacks using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts through technical workshops and knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response roles
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection platforms
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and cloud security tools (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills for complex malware analysis and digital forensics
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts for 24/7 security operations center
