Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events across the network infrastructure using SIEM tools.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts, including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery of security breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and ensure secure software development lifecycle practices.
- Provide security training and awareness programs to employees to reduce human error risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or SOC operations.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Sentinel).
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation and log analysis.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure).
