Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring using Splunk and AlienVault
- Conduct forensic investigations and threat hunting across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and maintain SIEM correlation rules for zero-day threat detection
- Collaborate with penetration testers to validate security controls
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence briefings for CISO stakeholders
- Implement NIST CSF controls and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize incident response playbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC operations
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certifications (required)
- Expertise in IDS/IPS (Snort/Suricata), EDR (CrowdStrike), and network forensics
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Knowledge of threat intelligence feeds (MISP, Recorded Future)
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
