Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for complex security breaches, including forensic analysis and containment
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-prem infrastructures
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell for operational efficiency
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR) for regulated industries
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness programs across departments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response roles
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required (CISM preferred)
- Expertise in network security protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure security services (GuardDuty, Sentinel)
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence
- Ability to manage high-pressure incident response scenarios
- BS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
