Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring and threat hunting initiatives
- Develop and implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Coordinate incident response activities across cross-functional teams
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Design security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Maintain compliance frameworks including NIST and ISO 27001
- Mentor junior analysts through security simulations and training
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with SOC/IR experience
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR tools
- Advanced knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Ability to handle high-pressure incident scenarios
