Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms and EDR solutions
- Lead incident response investigations for sophisticated cyber attacks and breaches
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop zero-trust architecture frameworks and access control policies
- Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous threat intelligence analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with proven incident response track record
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP (required) and AWS/Azure Security certifications (preferred)
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat hunting methodologies
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, and Nessus
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders
