Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response investigations, ensuring rapid containment and recovery from cyber attacks.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure software architectures and cloud environments.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff to reduce human error.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a cybersecurity role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
