In this pivotal role, you will lead our Security Operations Center (SOC) efforts, ensuring the integrity of our client's data and infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and manage the incident response lifecycle.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls and hardening configurations.
- Stay abreast of the latest threat intelligence and cybersecurity trends to proactively defend the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
