Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation (policies, procedures, playbooks)
- Monitor SIEM platforms for threat detection and analyze security alerts
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and regulatory requirements (NIST, HIPAA, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on threat detection experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders
