Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct thorough incident response and forensic analysis to mitigate security breaches effectively.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and penetration testing.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to design and enforce secure network architecture.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and industry trends to ensure proactive defense.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect and investigate complex threats.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours during critical security incidents.
