Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise security operations center (SOC) monitoring and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid environments
- Develop and implement advanced threat detection protocols using SIEM platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design zero-trust security architectures
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness programs
- Proactively research emerging cyber threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise security operations
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficiency in network security protocols and cloud security frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with incident response experience
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder collaboration
- Active DoD 8570 compliance (IAT Level II or higher)
