Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop and implement security controls for AWS/Azure infrastructure
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 2+ in incident response
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
