Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response for zero-day threats targeting critical infrastructure
- Develop SOC playbooks for ransomware and APT attacks
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise clients
- Maintain compliance with NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks
- Mentor junior analysts in threat hunting methodologies
- Collaborate with red teams on purple exercises
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC operations
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification (required)
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure security services
- Strong Python/PowerShell scripting for automation
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
