Responsibilities
- Design & Deploy: Architect, design, and implement robust cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to manage and provision cloud resources efficiently.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to track system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, software development, and infrastructure teams to drive technical initiatives and cloud adoption strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with certification preferred (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect).
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Containerization: Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, and DNS.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on high availability and disaster recovery.
