Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AWS/Azure multi-cloud environments with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead Kubernetes cluster deployments across hybrid/on-premises infrastructures
- Design CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins for 200+ microservices
- Optimize cloud spend through FinOps practices and reserved instance strategies
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions with strict compliance frameworks
- Conduct cloud security assessments and implement zero-trust architectures
- Mentor junior engineers and drive cloud maturity initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years cloud engineering experience with 5+ years in AWS/Azure
- Expert-level Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and container orchestration
- Advanced Terraform/CloudFormation with state management
- Certifications: AWS/Solutions Architect Pro or Azure/Solutions Expert
- Strong scripting in Python/Go and infrastructure automation
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, CircleCI) and GitOps
- Proven cost optimization and disaster recovery implementation
