Responsibilities
- Cloud Architecture: Design, deploy, and manage highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, adhering to best practices.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform and CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with SOC2 and GDPR standards.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and cost efficiency, implementing optimizations to reduce cloud spend.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, Development, and Security teams to resolve technical issues and drive technical initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or a related field.
- Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS (or Azure/GCP) services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Containerization: Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Associate certification is highly preferred.
