Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture improvements and monitoring tools
- Lead migration of on-premise systems to cloud-native environments
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing
- Implement robust security controls and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct architecture reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance platform resilience
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong scripting skills in Python/Bash/PowerShell
- Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Architect or DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and VPC design
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud performance and cost
