Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-cloud solutions (AWS/GCP) with Arctic-optimized configurations
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible
- Optimize cloud spend through FinOps best practices and cost analysis
- Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning for Arctic deployments
- Mentor junior engineers and establish cloud governance frameworks
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications on Kubernetes
- Conduct security audits and compliance assessments for FedRAMP-aligned environments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP certifications
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS/GKE)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (CIS, NIST SP 800-53)
- Familiarity with Arctic/Antarctic deployment challenges
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
