Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage highly scalable, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity for all cloud services.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Conduct regular cloud cost analysis and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and reduce operational expenses.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or DevOps.
- Strong proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM) or Azure services, including a deep understanding of networking (VPC, Subnets, Load Balancers).
- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, including encryption, access control, and compliance (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
