Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Automate provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement optimizations to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards within the cloud environment.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and developers.
- Drive architectural discussions to modernize legacy systems and migrate workloads to the cloud.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC) and/or Azure.
- Expert knowledge of Linux systems administration and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desired.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
