Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions on AWS/Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud costs through continuous monitoring and resource automation
- Lead CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Design disaster recovery strategies and ensure 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and emerging technologies
- Conduct security audits and compliance assessments (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement Kubernetes and container orchestration
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expertise in at least one IaC tool (Terraform/CloudFormation/ARM)
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Professional certifications (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect preferred)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex distributed systems
