Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistency and automation.
- Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud costs (FinOps).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Developers, Security) to integrate best practices.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expert knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell).
- Deep understanding of network protocols, security models, and database systems.
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Expert are a plus.
