Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Automate CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Optimize cloud costs while ensuring 99.99% uptime for critical workloads
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud-native environments
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM, VPC design, and compliance controls
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Document architecture decisions and runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure certification
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS)
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, CloudWatch)
- Knowledge of serverless architectures (Lambda, EventBridge)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience
