Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Lead cloud migrations and optimize cost/performance across multi-cloud environments
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies, network security, and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of cloud architecture designs
- Monitor cloud systems using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain 99.9% system uptime
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/Azure certifications
- Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong understanding of network architectures (VPC, VPN, Load Balancers)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
