Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost efficiency through continuous monitoring and automation
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud platforms while ensuring zero-downtime transitions
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing of cloud applications
- Implement robust monitoring solutions using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks against industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for cloud operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) with 2+ years in architecting solutions
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles, IAM policies, and network architecture
- Certification required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Experience with cost optimization strategies and FinOps implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
