Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/Azure/GCP hybrid cloud architectures with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize cloud costs through FinOps methodologies and reserved instance strategies
- Lead Kubernetes orchestration and serverless function deployments
- Develop disaster recovery plans and security frameworks (SOC2 compliant)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct architecture reviews
- Implement monitoring solutions with Prometheus/Grafana and ELK stack
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud engineering with AWS/Azure/GCP certifications
- Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python/Bash)
- Kubernetes administration (CKAD/CKS preferred)
- Experience with multi-region deployments and hybrid networking
- Strong background in cloud security (IAM, VPC, encryption standards)
- CI/CD pipeline design (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Bachelor's in CS or equivalent technical experience
- Financial services or healthcare industry experience preferred
