Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage highly scalable, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Ensure application security and compliance through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices (e.g., OWASP, CIS Benchmarks).
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate closely with software development, DevOps, and security teams to integrate new features into the cloud environment.
- Lead infrastructure migration projects from on-premise to the cloud, ensuring zero data loss and minimal business disruption.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC) or Azure (VMs, Storage, Functions, App Service).
- Expert knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Python or Bash.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (K8s).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Load Balancing, DNS) and security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first culture.
