Responsibilities
- Research & Development: Lead the design and implementation of novel deep learning architectures for Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal agents.
- Model Optimization: Develop techniques to improve model inference speed and reduce computational costs without sacrificing accuracy.
- Evaluation Frameworks: Build rigorous, automated evaluation pipelines to assess model performance, safety, and alignment with human values.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior researchers and engineers, conducting code reviews, and establishing best practices for reproducibility and scalability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product teams to translate research breakthroughs into tangible, deployable products.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Machine Learning or Natural Language Processing.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in research or applied machine learning, preferably within a top-tier tech company or research lab.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; deep understanding of transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and optimization techniques.
- Programming: Strong coding skills with a focus on algorithm design and data structures.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
