Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant LLM architectures optimized for inference speed and cost-efficiency.
- Agentic AI Development: Spearhead the development of autonomous AI agents capable of complex, multi-step reasoning and tool usage.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize open-source foundation models (e.g., Llama 3, Mistral) for specific enterprise verticals.
- Research Integration: Stay ahead of the curve by integrating the latest research findings into production codebases.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical blueprints.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in building production-grade machine learning systems.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
- Tools: Proficiency in MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex engineering challenges in high-scale environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
