Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D graphics rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas and WebGL.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate complex visual concepts into robust, scalable code.
- Optimize rendering performance across various devices and browsers to ensure 60fps animations.
- Maintain and extend our existing 2D game engine and interactive component library.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold high engineering standards.
- Debug complex rendering issues and implement innovative solutions for cross-browser compatibility.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web development, specifically with HTML5 Canvas or PixiJS.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less).
- Deep understanding of vector graphics, animation loops, and requestAnimationFrame.
- Experience with performance profiling and optimizing heavy graphical workloads.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
