In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring every pixel moves with purpose and precision.
Responsibilities
- Design & Develop: Create high-fidelity 2D animations and interactive micro-interactions using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern animation libraries.
- Optimization: Ensure all animations run at 60fps across devices, optimizing asset sizes and rendering performance using techniques like requestAnimationFrame and WebGL.
- Technical Leadership: Write clean, maintainable code and mentor junior developers on best practices for vector graphics and animation timing.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with UI/UX designers to translate Figma prototypes into responsive, fluid web experiences.
- Library Maintenance: Contribute to internal tools and reusable animation components to speed up the creative pipeline.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a specific focus on 2D animation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and WebGL. Strong knowledge of GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform) and Lottie is required.
- Design Skills: Deep understanding of motion principles (timing, easing, spacing) and a strong portfolio showcasing 2D web animations.
- Tools: Familiarity with vector design tools like Figma, Adobe Illustrator, or After Effects.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
