Responsibilities
- Design and execute high-quality 2D character animations and motion graphics.
- Create storyboards, animatics, and concept art for new projects.
- Collaborate with the creative director to ensure visual consistency across all media.
- Optimize animation files for various digital platforms and web performance.
- Mentor junior animators and provide constructive feedback during the review process.
- Stay updated on industry trends in 2D animation and motion design.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation and motion design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Toon Boom Harmony.
- Strong understanding of principles of animation (squash and stretch, timing, anticipation, follow-through).
- Excellent portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and technical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate creative concepts.
