Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D character animations and motion graphics for game environments and cinematics.
- Develop and implement rigging systems for 2D characters to ensure smooth performance.
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors and Producers to translate creative concepts into technical assets.
- Refine animations based on feedback to ensure adherence to the project's visual style and technical requirements.
- Maintain and organize asset libraries, ensuring clean and efficient file management.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in 2D animation and game art.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, preferably in the gaming industry.
- A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing character animation, rigging, and storytelling.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience with 2D rigging tools and techniques (e.g., Spine, DragonBones).
- Excellent understanding of animation principles (squash and stretch, timing, ease-in/out).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take constructive criticism well.
