Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-fidelity 2D animations, including character rigs, walk cycles, and environmental motion.
- Collaborate with directors and storyboard artists to ensure narrative flow and visual consistency across all assets.
- Optimize animation files for various platforms, ensuring seamless playback on web and mobile devices.
- Maintain and update internal asset libraries, creating reusable templates to streamline the production workflow.
- Provide expert feedback to junior animators, conducting regular review sessions to refine techniques and skills.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging animation technologies to integrate innovative techniques into our pipeline.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in 2D animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of timing, spacing, and squash and stretch.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate (Flash), and Toon Boom Harmony.
- Proficiency in 2D character rigging and clean-up techniques.
- Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote environment.
