Responsibilities
- Lead Animation: Create high-quality, fluid 2D character animations and background assets using industry-standard software.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the art director and storyboard artists to translate scripts and concepts into stunning visual narratives.
- Style Guide Maintenance: Ensure all animations adhere to the established visual style guides and brand guidelines.
- Workflow Optimization: Develop efficient animation pipelines and assets that are optimized for various media platforms.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior animators, providing constructive feedback to help them grow professionally.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex animation challenges and find innovative solutions to technical design issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, preferably in gaming or film production.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, and After Effects is required; knowledge of TVPaint is a plus.
- Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating a range of animation styles and techniques.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Animation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Tools: Strong command of Photoshop and Illustrator for compositing and cleanup.
