Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with global market trends and regulatory frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions including quantum-secure networks and AGI frameworks
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for 2026 tech initiatives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential by 2026
- Architect scalable systems for quantum-AI hybrid computing environments
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and board members on 2026 tech implications
- Manage innovation portfolio with $15M+ annual R&D budget for 2026-focused projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futuristics with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in developing long-term technology strategies (5+ year horizons)
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on future technology forecasting
- Experience securing government grants for futuristic R&D initiatives ($5M+ projects)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy frameworks including EU AI Act and US quantum initiatives
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq) and Python
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from WFS or Foresight Institute)
