Responsibilities

  • Monitor security alerts and events 24/7 during weekend shifts to ensure continuous protection of enterprise assets.
  • Perform real-time threat hunting and analysis using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify anomalies and potential intrusions.
  • Conduct detailed investigations into security breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access attempts.
  • Execute and document incident response procedures, including containment, eradication, and recovery actions.
  • Collaborate with the Core SOC team during handover periods to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and status updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military/experience).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Network Security role.
  • Certifications preferred: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH.
  • Strong proficiency with log analysis tools and SIEM platforms (Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze network traffic and identify malicious patterns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings to stakeholders.
  • Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with flexibility for rotating holidays.
