Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices in AWS/GCP
- Lead weekend deployments and production issue resolution
- Mentor junior engineers via virtual pair programming
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for weekend release cycles
- Contribute to open-source projects during core hours
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
- Document technical solutions for global knowledge base
Qualifications
- 5+ years of production software development experience
- Expertise in Python, Go, or Java with cloud patterns
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Strong background in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)
- Weekend availability for 8-hour shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design
- Experience mentoring distributed engineering teams
