Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java/Spring Boot
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) for 24/7 operations
- Debug and resolve critical production issues during night shift coverage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Optimize system performance and security protocols for financial applications
- Document technical specifications and contribute to code reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in backend development with Java and microservices architecture
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving skills with production system troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills for remote team collaboration
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM EST)
- Experience with financial systems or high-transaction applications preferred
