Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliverables
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices using AWS and Docker
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React/Angular)
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and microservices architecture
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies and version control (Git)
