Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, including connectivity drops, latency, and security breaches.
- Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Perform regular network audits, patch management, and security assessments.
- Provide remote technical support to internal employees and external clients.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for compliance and future reference.
- Collaborate with the IT team to upgrade hardware and software systems.
Qualifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent technical certification.
- 2+ years of experience in network administration or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a remote setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
