Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Document network infrastructure changes and maintain accurate system documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and system upgrades
- Provide remote technical support to end-users across multiple client sites
- Conduct regular network audits and performance optimization
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with remote monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional on-site visits
