Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using advanced troubleshooting tools
- Implement and manage VPN solutions for secure remote access
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security protocols
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for complex network problems
- Optimize network performance through regular testing and analysis
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant certifications preferred (CCNP, AWS Cloud)
