Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Document network topology, configurations, and incident reports in ITSM systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security protocols and compliance standards
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support via remote tools and ticketing systems
- Conduct regular network audits to ensure optimal performance and security
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Experience with ITIL processes and remote support protocols
