Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize secure network infrastructures including LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud solutions
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Cisco DNA Center
- Troubleshoot complex network issues including outages, security breaches, and configuration errors
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access control
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports using ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate hybrid solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Provide remote technical support to enterprise clients via ticketing systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Network Engineering or 5+ years equivalent experience
- CompTIA Network+ and Cisco CCNA certifications required
- Expertise in Cisco routers/switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and VMware
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and OSI model
- Experience with remote monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site client visits
