Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and coordinate response actions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols, firewalls, and endpoint security tools
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently in remote settings
- Excellent written/verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
