Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Lead open-source quantum computing initiatives in our GitHub ecosystem
- Present breakthrough findings at premier quantum conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Secure research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum simulators (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and assembly-level quantum control
- Strong track record of securing government/industry research funding
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system integration
