Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction techniques for practical quantum computing applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into functional quantum systems
- Lead research publications in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Identify emerging quantum computing trends and propose innovative solutions
- Secure external research funding through government grants and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (QuTiP, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable research plans
- Collaborative spirit with cross-disciplinary teams
